It is a fact the healthy animal = healthy meat. The highly concentrates feed with less or no paddock area where the animal does not have adequate paddock area, the goat is likely to gain weight but mostly fat, not meat or muscle. We do not support such feeding methods of over feeding. This also leads to the animal being fragile and higher mortality rates.
We follow a semi-stall fed system when animals have adequate paddock areas (15sqft per goat) which allows the muscle movements. If you do not have out door areas you may tie salt-bricks or greed feeds from heighted poles to give it the natural movement of grazing from trees. The eating quantity is upto the animal to decide and no force feeding is allowed at our farm. We also practice grazing and treating the animals with fruits from time to time.
